Welcome to this week's a 2 z: Take 2
and the letter Y.
Yippee aye Yikes!
That about sums up June for me... In a "He loves me, he loves me not." kind of way.Yanno what I mean?
But even in the yikes times, God has been faithful and has answered prayer in amazing ways. I've learned a lot, grown, and in many ways, feel more centered and ready to face July, knowing it's going to arrive with old challenges wrapped in new ways and new challenges wrapped in surprising ways.
And in the face of those challenges I know God will continue to be faithful. He will provide. He will answer prayer. He will guide us. He knows the big picture. And God never changes.
Those are truths I can hold on to.
So tell me, what's a promise you've been holding onto lately?
If you're joining us for the a2z: Take 2 meme by posting on your blog this week about the letter Y, be sure to add your name and the link to that particular post in the linky gadget here.
It wasn't so much a promise but a hope that my week would start with a velcro cast for my wrist. Instead, I have my 3rd fiberglass cast. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteHe will never leave me nor forsake me (or you either :D).
ReplyDeletePraying. Love ya
A verse God gave me yesterday: Is. 41:13, "For I hold you by your right hand--I, the Lord you God. And I say to you, 'Don't be afraid. I am here to help you."
ReplyDeleteLinky doesn't seem to be working for me, so visit me at http://gingersolomon.blogspot.com from my "Y" post.
Patty, loved that photo of the rainbow in the trees! I'm in a fairly good place, looking back over the good God brought out of my bad, praying with faith that He'll do the same for many of my dear friends facing storms.
ReplyDeleteI also have been hanging on to God's promise that He will never leave me or forsake me - or my children. Also that His strength will be my strength during times of weakness. I am so very thankful that we have a God who loves us so very much.
