This might be where I am......but lately my work has had me at the fair, looking forward to next season...
...and my mind has me looking through a camera lens...
...and my heart has me here...
...or here...
But this is where I am...
...so I will bloom where I am planted.
Where does your yondering take you?

Where does my heart take me? somewhere warm! I've been following people of the project365 (I'm behind!) and there are so many photos of warm places. I want to be there, no sweaters, shoes or socks!
ReplyDeleteI'm soooooo loving the warm weather pictures on Instagram!! I hunt for them. LoL. =]
DeleteLove this - beautiful pix. Haven't had time to yonder lately ;) Did Es take the pic of you?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo. The picture of me was taken by Jim, on our trip to Arizona in August. I was under some kind of bush, getting a picture of a cactus flower. It was soooo pretty and such a treasure to find!!
DeleteYondering? Well, I haven't really been anywhere since Thanksgiving when I went to Louisiana and spent a couple weeks with my daughter. But warmer weather would be lovely right now wouldn't it! Love your pics by the way! ;-]
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shelley. =]
DeleteI tend to do more mental yondering than real yondering...at least I like my mental yondering the best. LoL =]
Yondering-interesting term. I think of Yonder as meaning "over there, or away from you." Guess that would work for what you are saying. I understand- I'm looking forward to the day when I don't hurt to walk a few feet, so I can get back to my photo safaris!
ReplyDeleteYondering is a word I picked up in my reading, Barb. I fell in love with it because it's one that suits me so well. =]
DeleteHope that surgery happens soon!! I love seeing your pictures! =]
