End of a Chapter

Our Thanksgiving holiday was a working 'break' for us that wound up as the end of a chapter in our lives. We started remodeling the canning kitchen in our house into a library since we need a library and not a canning kitchen.
In the past 10 years our dreams have changed, and with them, the path we're following has, too. We used to have goats and chickens and guineas and even a milk cow, but those are all gone, and have been for a long time. Now we need more room for our books—it's the one thing we collect—so out goes the kitchen. Dismantling it was bittersweet, even though we're looking forward to a new chapter.

Even with the future being unknown to us, I can still rest without worrying. God is into details, and He cares about the details of my life. What a comfort and rock to cling to!

  1. I didn't know that you moved the library back into the old canning kitchen! Is it all done and moved? Do you like it? Do you all spend more time there than the living room now?

Thanks so much for stopping by! I love hearing from you.
