My only memories, however, are l...I love the beach! My only memories, however, are lake beaches because I've lived landlocked my entire life. I've been to the Atlantic and the Gulf but never to the Pacific Ocean and I long to visit it. I love water, swimming, boating--any water sport, really. I have a friend who is native to Puerto Rico and he's terrified of water. Can you imagine living by all that water and not knowing how to swim? Awful! I hear it's similar in England, too. Living on an island yet no one can swim. Tragic. I love Lake Michigan so much because I like looking across the water and seeing nothing but water. I must have sailors somewhere in my DNA.
